Detained CSO to former President Jonathan, Gordon Obua NOT dead

The detained Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Gordon Obuah, rumoured dead in the Department of State Service (DSS) custody, on Tuesday, dismissed his reported death.

Addressing newsmen at the DSS Headquarters in Abuja, Obuah thanked Nigerians for their concern, saying, "I am in safety custody of the DSS, my employer for now.
"I am a staff member of DSS and having completed my tenure as the CSO to the former president, the service now said I should come and give the accounts of my stewardship as the CSO to the former president which is what I have been doing in the past six days," he stated.
Obuah, who looked frail, was however disallowed from answering more questions form journalists.

He pleaded with journalists to understand that he was still a staff member of DSS and as such, he had limitations to speak with the press.
