Suicide bomber attacks Maiduguri hospital; ...5 killed, 15 injured

Five people have been confirmed dead with 15 others injured after two suicide bombers attacked a hospital in Molai area of Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

The two women tried to get into a hospital but were stopped by security guards at the gate and blew themselves up, witnesses said.
“We evacuated the charred bodies of the two security guards, another civilian and the two bombers,” said Auwal Mohammed, a member of the community in Molai, where the hospital is situated.
Conflicting death tolls continue to trail the suicide bombing incident.

Eyewitness said three people were killed while 15 others were injured.

However, the North-East coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Mohammed Kanar, said five people died in the incident.

Kanar added that one issue that continued to affect rescue efforts after terrorists attacks was crowd control.
