Southampton accepts Liverpool's £12.5m bid for Nathaniel Clyne

Liverpool are close to signing Southampton’s Nathanial Clyne, according to reports.

The two clubs are reported to have struck a £12.5million deal that will see the 24-year-old swap St Mary’s for Anfield.

Clyne will now undergo a medical and finalise personal terms before putting pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Should the move go through as expected, the right-back, who will become the club’s sixth signing of the summer, will be reunited with Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert, who all moved to Liverpool from Southampton last summer.
