Petr Cech to undergo Arsenal medical

Petr Cech is expected to undergo a medical ahead of the weekend before finalising his move to Arsenal.

Following lengthy negotiations, the Gunners are understood to have agreed a fee with Chelsea for the goalkeeper, who has already agreed personal terms with the north Londoners.

Cech has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge but he has decided to end his 11-year association with the club after being demoted to second choice behind Thibaut Courtois.

A four-time Premier League winner, Cech will bring a wealth of experience to the Emirates with Chelsea captain John Terry admitting he will be worth 15 points a season to their rivals.

Cech’s arrival could lead to the departure of David Ospina from Arsenal.
