Inauguration of 8th Lagos Assembly postponed

The Lagos State House of Assembly, on Wednesday, announced the postponement of the inauguration of the eighth assembly earlier scheduled for Thursday.

The postponement is contained in a statement signed by Miss Bose Lambo, Head of Information at the assembly.

According to the statement, the inauguration will now take place on Monday, June 8.

It said that the shift was due to unforeseen circumstances.

"All inconveniences are highly regretted please," the statement said.
