Fleeing kidnappers throws money at residents to escape from arrest in Warri

In their bid to escape from arrest, three suspected kidnappers threw large sums of money on a crowd after abandoning their car along Ajamugha road, Warri, Delta State.

A police patrol team had pursued the red car used by the kidnappers who ran into the crowd.

The state police Public Relations Officer, DSP Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the incident on Thursday, also said one armed robberry suspect identified as Isawhe Oghale was shot dead in Warri while other suspects escaped.

The police image maker also confirmed the arrest of five students of Delta State Polytechnics, Oghara, who were suspected members of Supreme Vikings Confraternity during their meeting at a club house in the town.
