Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta set to hold talks with Paul Pogba's agent
Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta is seeking talks with agent Mino Raiola over the possible transfer of Paul Pogba from Juventus.
Laporta is a popular choice who delivered Ronaldinho to the club ahead of Manchester United when he was last elected in 2003.
He plans to have former Barca and France left back Eric Abidal as his technical director if he is elected and says the club will go back to having a charity on their jersey if he wins.
Any notion of the move cannot take place until January 2016 however, when Barca's transfer ban is lifted.
Pogba is understood to favour a move to Barcelona ahead of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 22-year-old is under contract with Juve until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
