"Sergio Aguero is not for sale" - Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is confident Sergio Aguero will resist the urge to move away from the Eithad Stadium.

After a difficult 2013-14 season, the Argentine international has been City’s standout player this season, netting 25 goals in the Premier League.

City’s failure to win a trophy this season could prompt one of Europe’s big clubs to try and lure him away from the Etihad, but Pellegrini is adamant Aguero will not be going anywhere.
“I don’t think so because we are not a selling team,” Pellegrini responded when if asked if Real Madrid or Barcelona could try to land the striker.

“I think that Sergio is very happy here so he doesn’t have any intention to go.”

He added: “I always say Sergio is in the top five players in the world.

“He improved a lot this year with a lot of different things and I am sure we are going to see a better Kun in the future.”
