President Jonathan receives African Female Football Champions, Super Falcons at the Presidential Villa

President Goodluck Jonathan has urged the Super Falcons to remain disciplined if they want to win more laurels in the Female Football Championship.

The President was speaking to the players on Wednesday just before the Federal Executive Council meeting, after receiving the African women championship trophy they won in Namibia last week.



President Jonathan thanked the Super Falcons for making the nation proud promising that the nation would honour them at all times.

Before the presentation of the trophy to the President, the Minister of Sports, Tamuno Danagogo described the Super Falcons as legendary, hinging their success on the tenacity of the President to support sports and the discipline in the camp of the female football players.

The President promised to host them in a bigger ceremony at a date tentatively fixed for November 5.
