Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri ruled out for 1 month after groin surgery

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has had surgery on his groin and is expected to be out for a month.

Nasri, 27, missed last week's 7-0 Capital One Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday and Saturday's 4-2 Premier League win at Hull due to the problem.

The Frenchman is out of Tuesday's Champions League tie at home to Roma.

The Blues face league games against Aston Villa (away), Tottenham (home) and West Ham (away) in October, plus a Champions League visit to CSKA Moscow.
