PSG give up on Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard

Laurent Blanc has given up hope of bringing Eden Hazard to Paris Saint Germain.

Blanc has made no secret of his admiration for the 23-year-old and it was widely reported that the Ligue 1 champions would attempt to sign him over the summer.

Chelsea have already done business with PSG after David Luiz’s £50million move ahead of the World Cup, but they have made it clear to the French outfit that they are not prepared to part company with the playmaker.

With Chelsea unwilling to sell, Blanc has conceded defeat in the hunt for Hazard.
“Hazard is a top player, but I think Chelsea want to keep him,” Blanc told RMC Brazil.

“A lot of players are going to be mentioned, but we have already got our priority, David Luiz.

“We’re going to wait a bit before making any more signings. Be patient.

“We’re going to bring in some players, one or two, of great quality.”
