President Jonathan nominates Ibrahim Shekarau and three others as ministers
President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday forwarded the names of former Kano State Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau and four other persons to the Senate to be screened for appointment as Ministers.
The names of the ministerial nominees were read out during the plenary of the upper chamber of the National Assembly this morning.
The other nominees include Abdul Bulama from Yobe State, Adedayo Adeyeye from Ekiti State, and Stephen Oruh from Delta State.
The ministerial nominees who will be screened at a later date will fill either the slots of their States or geopolitical zones in the Federal Executive Council when their appointment are confirmed by the Senate.
But there was no nominee from Anambra and Kwara, two states with vacant ministerial slots in FEC in the list sent by the President to the Senate this morning.
