Dynamo Moscow agree deal for Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner

Dynamo Moscow have agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Dutch left-back Alexander Buttner.

Buttner, who started just 23 matches in two seasons at Old Trafford, has agreed a contract with the Russian Premier League outfit, and the Russian club say only “technical details” stand in the way of them finalising the deal.
“I want to play in the Champions League, win trophies,” Buttner told Dynamo’s official website.

“Dynamo are a very strong team, I am confident that we will fight for first place this season.”
Buttner’s agent Alexander Bursac said last week that the 25-year-old had been frozen out at Old Trafford, and that he did not expect things to improve under Louis Van Gaal, who has overlooked the former Vitesse Arnhem player for the Dutch national team.
“To stay at Manchester United was not an option for Buttner,” he said.

“In the past two years, Louis van Gaal has ignored Buttner time after time. So what kind of perspective does he have when Van Gaal becomes his new club coach?

“Patrice Evra signed a new contract and with Luke Shaw they want to buy another player for Buttner’s position.”
