Yaya Toure reveals PSG interest ...casts doubt over his Manchester City future

Yaya Toure has once again cast doubt over his Manchester City future by admitting it would be an ‘honour’ to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

Toure’s future was thrown into doubt after his agent Dimitry Seluk claimed that the midfielder was unhappy with City for their failure to acknowledge his birthday.

Despite initially distancing himself from the comments, Toure later confirmed that everything Seluk had said was true with the Ivory Coast international set to release at statement after the World Cup.

While he has vowed to clarify his comments after the World Cup, the 31-year-old has cast further doubt over his future by revealing a desire to play for PSG.
“Given the goals of Paris, how could you not be interested in a club like that?” Toure told France Football.

“PSG have become one of the strongest teams in Europe. It would be a honour to one day play for a club like that. If I can be of service…”
When asked whether he would be staying at the Etihad Stadium, Toure added: “Given the magnificent season Manchester City have had, everyone talks about me and everything is open.

“My agent, Dimitry, is hanging on the telephone and he knows what he has to do, I have complete confidence in him.

“Nobody knows what can happen tomorrow, my attention is on the World Cup and we will see afterwards.

“Yes, I have said I would like to finish my career at Barcelona. You never know because football moves quickly, you never know.”
