Toni Kroos agent denies Manchester United offer

Toni Kroos’ agent has rubbished reports that Manchester United have made an offer for the Bayern Munich midfielder.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a summer move for the German international with some reports suggesting the Premier League outfit have already made the 24-year-old a contract offer.

Last month the player himself admitted that he would be interested in a move to the Premier League and the latest rumours from Germany have suggested that United are prepared to pay him £260,000-a-week in a bid to lure him to Old Trafford.

Volker Struth, however, has dismissed the rumours by claiming his client will still be a Bayern Munich player at the end of the summer.
“We have not received any official contract offer [from Manchester United],” Struth told BILD.

“There is also no need to submit an offer as Toni will be with Bayern Munich until June 2015.”
Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola wants Kroos to remain at the Allianz Arena but knows it will be up to the player to decide where his future lies.
“I want Toni to stay. Kalle [Rummenigge] and Matthias [Sammer] want him to stay as well,” Guardiola told reporters. “He is a superb player and can decide for himself. We want him to stay.”
