David Moyes finding Manchester United job tougher than expected

Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted that he is finding life at Old Trafford tougher than he had expected.

The Scot was speaking after his side were humiliated 3-0 by bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford, a result that makes qualification for the Europa League an outside bet, with realistic thoughts of a top-four finish long since passed.

The match was also another occasion in which Utd failed to beat a side in the top-nine in the division, leaving their scrappy 1-0 win over Arsenal in November their only won against any of those teams.
The job was always going to be hard,” he said. “Harder? Yes I would say so yes.”
The former Everton manager was also full of praise for the unstinting support the Old Trafford faithful provided for the team on Sunday.
“Results will always dictate that but I can only tell you what I’ve seen today and the supporters were terrific,” he added.
