Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic set to join Inter Milan

Nemanja Vidic is close to agreeing a deal to join Inter Milan in the summer.

Vidic recently announced that he would be leaving Manchester United when his contract expires at the end of the season, but ruled out playing for another English club.

Inter have been the favourites to sign him for some time and chief Erick Thohir has revealed the deal is 90% finalised.
“Vidic? I cannot say more than that it is 90 per cent done. When everything is completed we will make an announcement. Do not make me say anything that is not concrete yet,” Thohir confirmed.
Vidic made his debut for United in January 2006 and in his eight years at the club he has won 15 trophies, including the Champions League in 2008.
“I’m not considering staying in England as the only club I ever wanted to play for here is Manchester United and I was lucky enough to be part of this club for so many years. I’ve got a few options to move on and I will choose the right one for me and for my family,” he said when announcing his decision to leave Old Trafford.
