Manchester United midfielder Fellaini out for 7 weeks with wrist injury
Manchester United are set to be without summer signing Marouane Fellaini for up to seven weeks after he damaged ligaments in his wrist.
The £27.5 million recruit from Everton missed the win at Sunderland with the problem, but after manager David Moyes confirmed the Belgian international was set to see a specialist, the news comes as a major blow for the Premier League champions.
He will also miss Belgium's final two World Cup qualifying encounters against Croatia and Wales, with one win set to confirm their place at Rio in 2014.
Fellaini has started just one Premier League game this season, which was the 4-1 derby loss to Manchester City.
