Injury setback for Arsenal forward Theo Walcott; ...out for two more weeks

Theo Walcott is set to be out of competitive action for at least another two weeks after he suffered an injury setback in training.

Groin and stomach surgery saw the Arsenal winger miss England’s most recent World Cup qualifiers, but he was on the verge of making a return for his club.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed on Monday that Walcott has suffered a blow. The attacker is set to miss Arsenal’s Champions League test against Borussia Dortmund, as well as a Premier League clash with Crystal Palace and a Capitol One Cup tie against Chelsea.

“He had a setback on Thursday,” said the Frenchman. “He had to stop, to jog again.

“I don’t think we will see him against Dortmund, nor Crystal Palace, nor Chelsea.

“He is at least two weeks away now.”

We missed his pace in the flanks. Thankfully, Arsenal is not doing bad :)

I relish having Theo, Lukas and Ox back in the team!

  1. Wow. How arsenal did not feel the absence of first team players on injury list beats me. Obviously this is our season. Go Gunners
