Arsenal's Arsene Wenger & Aaron Ramsey named Premier League Manager and Player of the Month for September

Arsenal’s impressive run of four successive victories have resulted in Arsene Wenger and Aaron Ramsey picking up the Barclays manager and player of the month awards for September.

The table-topping Gunners - who many tipped to miss out on the top four before the season started - won all four League games in September, beating north London rivals Tottenham as well as Sunderland, Stoke and Swansea.

Ramsey was instrumental in helping his side record four victories on the bounce, scoring four times, including a brace at Sunderland, and his rich vein of form has yielding his first ever Player of the Month award.

As well as the four Premier League victories, Wenger presided over wins in the penalty shoot-out victory at West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup and the Champions League win against Marseille.Wenger - currently the longest-serving manager in England - has now won 13 top flight manager of the month awards since his arrival at Arsenal in October 1996.

A well deserved recognition :) and hopefully we'll dominate the team of the year as well after winning the Premiership :)

I used to be a Ramsey-critic, well who wouldn't with his below-par performances then. Am happy he's getting better and better each game.
