23-year-old man arrested for defiling a 7-year-old girl!

A 23 year-old man, was arrested by the police in Osun for allegedly defiling a seven year-old girl.

The incident, according to the PPRO, happened at Odogo Ijesa on September 18.

The mother of the victim was said to have left her two daughters at home and went to the farm.


The suspect was said to have lured the younger of the two siblings away and forcibly had sex with her.

The mother, on returning home, was said to have noticed that her daughter was behaving in a strange way. She probed her and the little girl was said to have confessed.

The case was reported to the police and the suspect was promptly arrested.

The PPRO said the suspect would be charged to court immediately the investigation was concluded.

A capital purnishment like death penalty will curb this menace in my opinion!
