DONE DEAL: Marouane Fellaini joins Manchester United for £27.5m
Manchester United have signed Marouane Fellaini from Everton for £27.5million.
David Moyes has been reunited with his man after a long summer chase, helped by the fact the Belgian handed in a transfer request earlier in the day.
Belgium midfielder Fellaini wanted to be reunited with former manager Moyes and felt he had no choice but to make his intention to join United formal.
Fellaini had been given permission to delay linking up with his nation's squad, while at his request, the 25-year-old's representative and long-time family confidant flew over on Friday to join him and his father Abdellatif.
United made separate bids for both Fellaini and Leighton Baines earlier in the summer, having had respective offers of £28m plus add-ons and £36m rejected by Everton.
In a setback for United though, a deal fell through for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera.
