Gov. Fashola’s father Ademola Fashola dies at 79

Mr Ademola Fashola, father of Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, is dead.

The governor`s father died this morning at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos, at the age of 79.

Officials of the Lagos state government said Mr. Fashola, who is currently at Umrah in Saudi Arabia, is saddened by the news of his father’s death.

The governor plans an emergency return to Lagos to attend the burial.
