Taiye Taiwo risk jail term in France for tax evasion

Super Eagles defender, Taiye Taiwo has been invited over by French authorities for interrogation as regards evasion of tax payment.

According to French fiscal authorities, it was reported that he allegedly defaulted in payment of income taxes in 2008 and 2009 as well as property taxes in 2011 on his home, which they say will be auctioned at €200,000- three times lesser than its market value.

A Marseille court has already started judicial proceedings.
