BREAKING NEWS: Military aircraft crashes in Port Harcourt

A military plane was on Thursday reported to have crashed at the Air Force Base in Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

The aircraft, which was said to have made an emergency landing at a Port Harcourt military airport, crash landed and reportedly went up in flames.

Air force officials are yet to release a statement.

Last week, Nigerian Army’s Alpha Jet fighter crashed some 37 miles (60 kilometers) west of Niamey, the capital of Niger republic, killing both pilots on board.
