Reading joins West Ham in chase for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh

Arsenal flop Marouane Chamakh is wanted by struggling Reading.

The Moroccan striker, 28, who has scored eight goals in 40 league appearances since signing from Bordeaux in 2010, is a loan target for Royals boss Brian McDermott.

But they face competition from West Ham for Chamakh, who has four goals this term.
