Alfred N’Diaye joins Sunderland from Bursaspor

Sunderland have signed midfielder Alfred N’Diaye from Turkish club Bursaspor for an undisclosed fee.

The Black Cats have been in talks with the 22-year-old for a couple of days and after successfully negotiating a deal he has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at the Stadium of Light.

N’Diaye started his career at Ligue 1 side Nancy before moving to Turkey in 2011 for a fee in the region of 3million euro, but he will now make Wearside his home after agreeing a switch to Sunderland.

“Alfred is a strong, powerful young player and as such can offer us more strength in depth,” Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill told the club’s official website.

“He will give us options and I’m delighted that we have been able to bring him to the club.”

N’Diaye could make his debut for Sunderland in Saturday’s Premier League clash with West Ham, subject to international clearance.
