A bid by a suspected ritualist to sever the breasts of a young woman, Miss Blessing Odion at Uromi Junction in Agbor, Ika South Local Council of Delta State has been foiled by the Police.
The lucky victim, will however, have to live some scar as she was inflicted with deep cuts on her body before the police from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad saved her from the jaws of the assailant who escaped into the bush.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka who narrated the story said that the piercing shriek by the terrified victim from the bush attracted the attention of the policemen on the beat who immediately rushed in to save her.
On her way to Igbanke in Edo State, Muka said that Blessing had boarded a commercial motorcycle popularly called Okada but mid-way into the journey, the motorcyclist suddenly made a detour from the road and ended up in the bush.
She was speechless when the rider suddenly stopped and brought out a sharp cutlass with which he used to inflict severe injuries on the victim.
The suspected ritualist reportedly confessed to the victim that he had sucked the blood of many of his victims and showed the frightened lady pictures of his victims with severed breasts.
