Former Ikeja LG chairman Toyin Hamzat assassinated

Former Ikeja Local Government boss and Special Adviser Lagos Ministry of Health Toyin Amzat, reports say has been murdered.

He was killed Sunday night on his way to his Lagos home, from Sagamu in Ogun State.

He was reportedly shot in the head at Sabo, Sagamu, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, at about 9p.m. on Sunday. He was said to have left Sagamu Town Club where he went for a meeting and was heading for his country home when he met his fate.

The killers, it was learnt, blocked his car and shot him at point blank.
