A Bizarre coincidence involving two of the world’s greatest footballers and their sons was revealed by fans on Twitter.

Portuguese Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo is 869 days older than Argentina and Barcelona magician Lionel Messi.

But astonishingly, Ronaldo’s son — Cristiano Ronaldo Junior — is also 869 days older than Messi’s son, Thiago.

Messi’s girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo gave birth to their son on Friday while Ronaldo Junior arrived on June 17, 2010.

Ronaldo, 27 — born on February 5, 1985 — has sole custody of his son after a mystery mum gave birth to him. Portuguese media claim he paid a US surrogate.

Messi was born on June 24, 1987.
