Mario Balotelli in another tunnel row; ...storms off pitch and jets home after being substituted

Mario Balotelli is set to escape a fine from Manchester City for his tunnel strop on Saturday.

But the Italian bad-boy can expect a ticking off for his early dash to the airport when he returns from international duty.

Sulky Balotelli stormed straight off down the tunnel after he was replaced by Sergio Aguero against Sunderland.

And he then left the Etihad just 15 minutes after the final whistle to make his way to Manchester Airport.

That did not represent a breach of rules but club officials were hoping to speak to him before he headed to Italy.
