Yaya Toure signs 2 Nigerian sports consultants to manage his image rights

Reigning African player of the year Yaya Toure has signed on two Nigerian sports consultants to manage his image brand in Africa.

Anthony Zulu Olayinka Oni and Jelili Olademeji will manage the image of the Manchester City midfielder as he seeks to expand his marketability on the continent.

Yaya’s plans are to extend his foundation to Nigeria in order to give back to the society. The Ivorian is the second highest paid African footballer after Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o.

Zulu and Olademeji, who are both based in London, said that Yaya is open to the Nigerian market for product endorsements.

They are also planning to have a testimonial match in Nigeria by December to bring the box-to-box player closer to the Nigerian football community and sponsors.

Yaya will also use the opportunity to launch a Nigerian branch of the Manchester City fans' club.
