Florent Malouda & Henrique Hilario omitted from Chelsea's Champions League squad

Florent Malouda and Hilario has both been ditched from Chelsea’s Champions League squad.

The French winger, 32, has failed to make the 22-man selection to be submitted to UEFA ahead of the Blues’ defence of their European crown.

Malouda has not featured in any of Roberto Di Matteo’s matchday squads this season and has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

A transfer to Brazilian giants Santos reportedly collapsed due to the wage demands of the ex-Lyon ace, who has been at Chelsea for five years.

Veteran goalkeeper Hilario was also omitted from the squad.
