Manchester City signs Inter Milan right-back Maicon for £3m

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has secured Inter Milan right-back Maicon in a £3million deal.

Signing the Brazilian defender was one of Mancini's main aims on deadline day and the club has agreed a deal with Inter.

Maicon is regarded as one of the world's best players, although he was humiliated by Tottenham's Gareth Bale in the Champions League two seasons ago.
