Federal Government, Akwa Ibom, Rivers & Delta states shared N830billion in July!

Oil producing states of Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta were the largest beneficiaries from the federation account in the month of July.
The total sum of N830 billion being statutory and Value Added Tax (VAT) allocations, was shared by all tiers of government at the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee.
From the total nets after deductions, Akwa Ibom received N17.5 billion, Rivers, N10.4 billion; Delta, N13.1 billion and Bayelsa N8.5 billion. The highest recipients among non-oil–producing states are Lagos N13.9 billion and Kano N10.9 billion.
The lowest recipients as revealed in the distribution chart are Gombe, N4.1 billion; Nasarawa, N4.1 billion; Ebonyi, N3.8 billion and Ekiti N4.2 billion.
Other confirmed disbursements in July are Federal Government, N205.5 billion; Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), N4.3 billion; FCT Councils, N1.5 billion; Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), N3.2 billion and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) N9.8 billion.
