Ban Manchester United and Manchester City From Europa League! - Harry Redknapp
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes that Manchester City and United should be banned from the Europa League.
Both clubs were dumped out of the Champions League this week and relegated to the 'also-rans' of Europe after finishing third in their groups.
But Redknapp claims being offered a place in the Europa League after failing in the elite competition is like being handed a Carling Cup semi-final spot as reward for being knocked out of the FA Cup.
He said: "How can you go from the Champions League to the Europa League? You get knocked out, you're out, surely.
"If you get beaten in the FA Cup you don't get into the Carling Cup semi-final. It's unbelievable. I don't understand it."
