Herbalist In Court For Giving False Vision In Ibadan! lol!

A herbalist, Fatai Bayonle, was on Monday arraigned before an Ibadan Magistrates’ court for giving false vision likely to cause a breach of public peace.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Foluke Adedosu, told the court that Bayonle conducted  himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by telling his victim, Oluwakemi Olalere, that a certain woman was after her life.
 
Adedosu said that the accused lied to his victim with the intention of extorting  money from her, adding that this led to a crisis in Olalere’s  family.

She told the court that the accused committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 249(D) of the criminal code cap 38 Vol. II Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.

The judge granted the accused bail in the sum of  N20, 000 with two sureties and adjourned the case to Dec. 15 for further hearing.
