Arsene Wenger: Nobody will leave Arsenal (Who is fooling who?)

ARSENE WENGER today incredibly claimed he expects NOBODY to leave Arsenal this summer.

Gunners captain Cesc Fabregas and midfielder Samir Nasri have been left out of the squad to face Newcastle tomorrow. The pair are set for big-money moves with Fabregas wanted by Barcelona and Manchester City lining up Nasri.

But Arsenal boss Wenger stunned fans this morning by revealing: "I expect nobody to leave the club. Asked if he thought both players would stay, the Frenchman replied: "That's a good conclusion from my statement."

Wenger also insisted he was happy with the attitude of Fabregas and Nasri. He added: "I am not disappointed. I will decide what's best for the club. "My personal feelings are not important. What is important is the club and how well we do.

"Overall, I have not been disappointed with their attitudes. They are professionals. I take nothing personally.

"The transfer speculation is disruptive but that is not an excuse. "The best thing for us one day before the championship starts is not to focus on possible transfers.
