Arsenal are becoming a Feeder Club for Europe's giants.

ARSENE WENGER admits he is worried that Arsenal are becoming a feeder club for Europe's giants.

The Frenchman looks set to lose Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, a player he plucked from the Catalans as a teenager. With Samir Nasri also looking for an exit from the Emirates, and the likes of Patrick Vieira, Kolo Toure and Alex Hleb whisked away in recent seasons, player retention is an issue for the Gunners.

Asked whether Arsenal are becoming a supply line for the richer clubs on the continent, Wenger responded: "Yes we are concerned by that. "When you take players who are 16 or 17 years old and play them in the Premier League, you need to be brave.

"But you do it because they deserve it and secondly because you hope the club will be rewarded when these players are 23 or 24, and are in a position to deliver.
"So it is a concern."
