PSG joins Real Madrid in race to sign Tottenham star Gareth Bale
Paris Saint-Germain are expected to join the battle to sign Gareth Bale.
Real Madrid lead the chase for the Spurs star — and the Welsh wizard admits PSG are not yet up with Europe’s elite clubs.
But Damien Comolli, who brought Bale to Spurs from Southampton, expects the mega-rich French side to offer the 23-year-old winger a massive package.
The former director of football, 40, said: “When you leave Tottenham and you are a player like Bale, there are only three or four clubs you can go to.
“If PSG know the player is on the market — and there is a possibility — it wouldn’t surprise me if they did everything in their power to get him.”
But Bale said: “At the moment PSG aren’t at the level of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United or Bayern Munich.”
