Boko Haram bombed and razed Police post in Sokoto

Islamist militant group Boko Haram has intensified attacks on the police in Sokoto state by bombing and razing down a police outpost in Shagari local government area in the state.

A Police source told SaharaReporters that the attackers came on motorbikes and tossed dynamites at the police outpost while firing at police officers on duty. The scene of the attack is a distance of 7 kilometers from Sokoto township where the sect attack two police formations last week.

Details of the attacks remain sketchy, however, the police source stated there was no casualty reported as at the time of publishing this report.
